EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATION
Oksana Lidke began her undergraduate nursing education at Grand Valley State University (GVSU). After completing her degree, she returned to GVSU a year later to pursue her doctorate in Nursing, specializing in primary care pediatrics. Her clinical experience, combined with a growing passion for psychiatry, eventually led her to transition from medical practice into the field of mental health. She later earned a Post-Doctoral Certification as a Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Saginaw Valley State University.
Oksana is board-certified as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) and also holds board certification in general medicine primary care.
BACKGROUND
Oksana Lidke is a native of Ukraine and has been a U.S. resident for over 20 years. Her passion for travel and curiosity about how different cultures approach mental health have shaped her comprehensive, holistic perspective.
She is fluent in English, Spanish, Ukrainian, Russian, and Polish, which allows her to connect with people across diverse backgrounds. Oksana has the ability to engage effectively with individuals of all ages, from the very young to the elderly. Her deep understanding of cultural and religious differences, combined with her multilingual skills, enriches her capacity to provide inclusive and empathetic support.
CURRENT PRACTICE
With over 20 years of experience in the medical field, Oksana Lidke brings a deep commitment to compassionate, evidence-based care. For the past 15 years, she has specialised in psychiatry, working with both hospital, outpatient, community mental health, home-based settings and owned and operating her own practice.
Oksana’s approach integrates her medical background with her psychiatric expertise, allowing her to provide holistic and individualised treatment for each patient.
Her clinical expertise includes the diagnosis and treatment of the following mental health conditions:
